As part of a working visit, Said Sultanov, representing AMG Ltd, held a meeting with representatives of Jiangxi Copper Company Limited.

Nanchang is one of China’s key industrial centers, hosting major manufacturing enterprises. The city continues to develop economic and industrial zones, forming clusters in metallurgy, mechanical engineering, and high-tech industries, while also providing modern infrastructure designed to attract investment.

Jiangxi Copper ranks among the world’s top ten mining companies and is the largest copper producer in mainland China. The company operates a fully integrated business model — from mining and ore processing to smelting and copper refining, as well as the production of by-products (including sulfuric acid and precious metals). As of the end of 2024, the company’s market capitalization on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange was estimated at HKD 62–63 billion (approximately USD 8–9 billion), with subsequent growth in market valuation to HKD 199–214 billion (approximately USD 25–27 billion).

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation and potential formats for industrial collaboration, including coordination of geological exploration stages in Kazakhstan. The discussions confirmed a mutual interest in establishing a long-term partnership and outlined further steps to advance dialogue.
