Aurora Group reminds subsoil users to submit annual reports for the previous calendar year by April 30 of the current year.

Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan amended the Order of the Minister of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 24, 2018 No. 374 “On Approval of the Rules for Subsoil Users to Submit Reports in Exploration and Production of Solid Minerals, Extraction of Common Minerals” in terms of the need to submit the reports specified in the Rules in electronic format on the portal of the Unified Subsoil Use Platform (https://minerals.e-qazyna.kz/).

Submission of reports is an important part of obligations under licenses/contracts for exploration and production of solid minerals.

According to the legislation, subsoil users are obliged to submit the following reports:

- a report on the fulfillment of license obligations;

- a report on purchased goods, works and services with an indication of the share of in-country value;

- a report on the composition of controlling persons and organizations;

- geological reports (if necessary);

- a report on minerals extracted and work program implementation (for mining licenses).

Timely reporting is not only a legal requirement, but also an important step towards maintaining transparency and accountability in the subsoil use industry.
