Aurora Geophysics conducted a survey using the technique of vector measurements of induced polarization

Aurora Geophysics announces the successful completion of electrical exploration by the method of induced polarization with vector measurements. This method has been successfully implemented by Aurora Geophysics during the current field season, and its effectiveness in various geological conditions has been confirmed by the results obtained.

The shooting was carried out in the Aktobe region. As part of the research, Aurora Geophysics measured the horizontal components of the electric field (Ex and Ey) emanating from a dipole source. These measurements were used to calculate the charge vector and the resistivity vector, which confirmed the effectiveness of the method in detecting mineralization zones in conditions of complex geology.

The monitoring system included measuring lines arranged orthogonally in a staggered order and current lines located at an angle to the measuring lines.

The technology developed by Aurora Geophysics ensured high productivity. On average, 16 square kilometers of observation were carried out per work shift.

 The research results include detailed maps of geoelectric parameters such as apparent polarizability, apparent electrical resistance, and metal factor. Based on these data, a generalized model of the distribution of geoelectric parameters in the studied area was created, reflecting the geometry and mutual location of the main structural and geological elements indicating potential mineralization zones and ore-controlling structures.

The technique of electrical exploration by the method of induced polarization with vector measurements has proven its effectiveness both in theory and in practice. This method made it possible to accurately determine the location of the proposed mineralization zones in difficult geological conditions by measuring two horizontal components of the electric field and optimizing the observation system.

 Aurora Geophysics Ltd strictly adheres to safety and health regulations during exploration work. To strengthen the safety policy, occupational safety and health advisers constantly interact with the team, and all staff undergo regular training in the following disciplines:

 Fire-technical minimum;

 Electrical safety;

 Occupational safety and health;

 Provision of pre-medical care.

 Aurora Geophysics proves its ability to provide reliable data and results in the field of geophysical research, as well as its willingness to use the full range of modern geophysical methods, including the method of induced polarization in vector modification on objects of any degree of geological complexity.
