We have carried out field ground electrical exploration using the resistance method and topographic and geodetic works using an unmanned aerial vehicle commissioned by SOYUZ-V LLP. The site is located in the East Kazakhstan region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The objectives of the study included a quantitative assessment of the volume of Tailings storage material.
The initial data for calculating the volume are digital models obtained by Aurora Geophysics Limited specialists during field work for the distribution of the depth of the lower surface of the material of the flotation tailings layer and the absolute marks of the surface of the tailings layer. The electrical exploration work was carried out using AURORA INSIGHT's proprietary proprietary technology with GDD equipment.
The complex of aerial photography works was performed using the DJI Matrice 300 RTK unmanned aerial vehicle with a high-precision lidar DJI Zenmuse L1. The calculation of the volume of the Tailing dump was performed using special software in two independent ways.
