Aurora Geophysics Ltd. successfully completed a field magnetic survey in the Pavlodar region
We’re excited to share that Aurora Geophysics Ltd., a leading geophysical company of Kazakhstan, has completed a field magnetic survey in the Pavlodar region. The field works were delivered in a short timeframe thanks to the exceptional coordination, expertise, and dedication of our team.
The survey was conducted using GSM-19W Overhauser magnetometers from GEM Systems (Canada), world-class instruments known for their precision, stability, and reliability in harsh environments.
Magnetic survey is a key tool in mineral exploration, enabling the detection of changes in Earth’s subsurface magnetic properties caused by magnetic minerals, like magnetite and pyrrhotite, which are often associated with potential mineralization of commercial interest. This method enables explorers to map subsurface anomalies, providing a critical understanding of the structural environment and potential ore zones without the need for immediate drilling.
This geophysical method is indispensable in mineral exploration, providing a rapid, cost-effective survey to identify and understand the subsurface geology. Their role in detecting promising exploration targets and defining ore bodies directly supports decision-making in mineral projects, reducing exploration risk and enhancing the strategic planning of resource development.
Currently, detailed processing and interpretation of the collected geophysical data are underway.
Across all projects, Aurora Geophysics Ltd. remains committed to the quality, highest standards in safety, environmental responsibility, and data integrity, applying innovative. Our proven track record reflects the technical proficiency of the company and our ability to successfully execute complex projects to the highest standards.
