On April 11-12, 2024, an outstanding event was held in Almaty - Satbaev International Conference 2024 entitled "Integration of science and technology: The path to sustainable development". This event brought together leading scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs and students to discuss key issues related to the progress of scientific and technological progress and its impact on sustainable development.
One of the notable participants of the conference was Aurora Limited, which presented its report entitled "Geophysical monitoring - an element of safe and environmentally friendly operation of tailings dumps" in the section "Geology and oil and gas business". The report aroused great interest among specialists and raised many questions concerning the potential of geophysical methods at all stages of the exploration process.
Anton Tatarsky, the company's leading geophysicist, took an active part in the work of the commission evaluating student reports. This allowed him to share his experience and knowledge with young scientists, as well as contribute to the training of future industry specialists.
The master class, conducted by a representative of the company, became a real event for students interested in geophysics. He reviewed in detail the application of geophysical methods to solve ore problems using the example of Aurora Limited, answered many questions from students and shared practical aspects of field and desk work, the features of the methods used and the prospects of new technologies in this area.
The meeting with the students became a valuable experience for representatives of Aurora Limited, allowing them to get acquainted with potential future industry specialists who will join the development of the domestic exploration industry in the coming years. Such interactions facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience between professionals and the younger generation, which is an important factor for stimulating innovation and sustainable development of the industry.
