Madina Kapenova, CEO of Aurora Minerals Group, gave an interview to Forbes about her professional journey.

In the interview, Madina Kapenova spoke about her career path — from a geologist to the head of one of Kazakhstan’s leading mining companies — emphasizing that perseverance, knowledge, and dedication are the keys to success.

Born in Karaganda, she developed an interest in geology from an early age. After graduating from Karaganda Technical University, Madina began working on various projects, quickly gaining valuable experience.

In 2020, she joined Aurora Minerals Group, where she handled transaction support and investor relations. Her contribution became crucial in the successful implementation of major projects, including the acquisition of Solidcore Resources in 2025. Shortly after, Madina was appointed CEO of the company.
