During the 2023 field season, Aurora Minerals Group employees conduct areal geochemical studies (lithochemical survey of secondary scattering halos) on a highly promising customer area in the Karaganda region.The main purpose of the work is to detect ore deposits that reach the daytime surface, as well as hidden at depth.Almost any mineral is accompanied by halos of the main element and satellite elements in various natural environments and can be detected by geochemical search methods.
The results of the lithochemical survey will make it possible to more accurately identify sites for detailed research on the licensed area, as well as to form strategic plans for future stages of exploration, taking into account environmental responsibility.
Testing of the soil horizon is carried out on a regular network of 100x200 meters with a capacity of 200-300 samples per day. Sampling is carried out in strict accordance with QA/QC quality control for the accuracy and reliability of the analysis results, which is a key factor in the pursuit of successful development of natural resources.
A brief geological description is performed during the route. A unified system of codes is used, indicating the name of the rock, the elements of occurrence, and the presence of ore/vein mineralization. The selection of lithochemical samples is carried out in strict accordance with the technical specifications of the Customer, following the specified points and deadlines.
All mining workings of the predecessors encountered during the work are recorded in GPS with the exact coordinates.
Prior to the start of the physical work, the staff assembled a reference collection of rock and mineral samples to ensure uniformity of documentation.
Before starting the work, the employees of Aurora Minerals Group were instructed on safety during work in the field. Employees use the necessary PPE to avoid risks and threats that are harmful to the employee's health.
