Geologist with Advanced Experience in Copper Porphyry Mineralization Peter Grieve Assesses the Project in Western Balkhash Region

Peter Grieve is a qualified specialist in the field of epithermal gold-silver deposits and associated copper porphyry systems, with over 30 years of experience ranging from discovery and exploration of deposits to resource assessment and development. Since 2000, he has worked as an independent geological consultant for various state and private companies in Ghana, Mongolia, Ecuador, Turkey, Australia, the Solomon Islands, the USA, Papua New Guinea, Serbia, Burkina Faso, Liberia, Europe (Portugal, Spain, Ireland, and Scotland), and New Zealand.

In September 2024, Peter visited one of the promising copper projects in Western Balkhash Region - Kemir , to assess the potential of the explored area for mineral resource growth and the prospects for increased mineralization with depth. He visited the actual site of the deposit as well as the core storage facility, which contains the core samples from recent exploration drilling.

During the survey, it was emphasized that the existing tourmaline mineralized breccias within the deposit may have a tendency to extend downward and also contain high concentrations of Cu and other metals, including Ag and Au. If the breccia pipes have not been eroded, they may extend to a depth of over 2 km. Additionally, quartz veins developed to the west of the ore manifestation also require further study.

Following Peter's visit, a conceptual model of this type of ore occurrence will be developed, and the subsequent geological exploration program will be adjusted.
