The rule of law and legal stability are key guarantees of economic growth. The new amendments are aimed at strengthening these principles. This was stated by members of the Committee for the Geological Sector, Mining, Coal and Metallurgical Industry of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken.”
According to them, investments are directed primarily to countries where legal requirements are strictly observed and a stable legal environment is ensured. The draft of the new Basic Law covers all key aspects of industry development, including the protection of human rights, occupational safety, environmental standards, and digital security. This creates a solid foundation for long-term development and the attraction of sustainable investment.
Gulnar Bizhanova, Deputy Chairperson of the Management Board of the National Chamber “Atameken”:
“Kazakhstan is among the top five countries in the world where digital security issues have been elevated to the constitutional level. Within the post-Soviet space—and among Asian countries—we are the first. This is something we can be proud of. As a result, the entire mining and metallurgical complex operates digitally. Digitalization is implemented in production, in geology, and across all operational stages. It is important for us that all digital services function securely, and that intellectual property within the digital environment is respected, preserved, and protected by law.”
