Successful audit by a Competent Person of KAZRC

In October 2023, the Aurora Minerals Group (hereinafter AMG) conducted core drilling with geological support of drilling operations at a site in the Zhambyl region.

The purpose of the exploration was to identify industrially significant deposits of copper, gold and associated components, as well as rare metals within the area.

Drilling operations were carried out using two drilling rigs of the private company Aurora Quest Services Limited. The projected drilling volume was 1,900 meters, and the drilling team successfully completed this task in less than a month.

The drilling was monitored by a team of AMG geologists. Local geologists, after drilling wells on the ground, visited the drilling site daily, checking the core material for errors, as well as maintaining primary core documentation.

After receiving the core daily from the drilling team, the district geologist checked each drilling trip, measured the core yield, noted mechanical cracks, and also examined the core for the presence of ore mineralization.

In the course of exploration work, a review and audit of regulatory documents and technical specifications, an audit of the procedures performed during field work at the site and compliance of the work performed with generally accepted standards of exploration (KAZRC/JORC) were carried out in parallel.

The audit of the conducted exploration works for compliance with the working procedures was carried out by the competent person of FPONEN, FGSL, KAZRC, Vladimir Danilov.

During the on-site audit by Aurora Minerals Group, the auditor was accompanied by Chief geologist Nikolai Bozhko.

Conclusions of the audit:

    - The procedures set out in the "Regulations for Ensuring and controlling the quality of geological exploration carried out under the management of Aurora Minerals Group" used by AMG comply with the standards of exploration (KAZRC/JORC).

    - Exploration work in 2023 was carried out in full compliance with the specified Regulations and after the successful completion of the QA/QC program, the data obtained can be used to assess mineral resources.
