Geology : Porphyry Cu-Mo-Au Deposits

The deposits are located in the Krasnoarmeysk-Batalinsk complex, which is a well-constructed paleo-volcanic structure of a central type. The structure has two vents that are formed by stock-like bodies of diorite-granodiorite composition, transitioning at depth into a single plutonic mass with dimensions of 14 by 6-9 km.

The mineralization is located in stock-like bodies of granodiorites, granodiorite-porphyry. Cu-Mo mineralization is controlled by zones of tectonic disruptions with steep dips. Ores are vein-included, forming stockwork. The primary mineralization is associated with quartz-albite-sericite type alteration.
