Today the Aurora Minerals Group team attended the ceremony marking the 95th anniversary of Semey Geological Exploration College, an institution with a rich history and a long tradition of training geologists for Kazakhstan.
During the visit we toured the college’s museums, learned about its history and achievements, and met with faculty and members of the geological community.
For 11 years, Aurora has worked closely with young professionals, including students and graduates of Semey College, offering them internships, professional development and opportunities for career growth. Many graduates who began their careers with our company now work for international mining companies, and some have gone on to build successful businesses of their own. We take special pride in this, and it shows the strength of the Semey school of geology.
We believe the future of geological exploration in Kazakhstan belongs to a new generation of talented specialists, and we are glad to be part of their professional journey.
