We are constantly expanding our team and are considering candidates in the following areas:

Geophysicist / Geophysical Survey Operator (Induced Polarization Survey)

Aurora Geophysics Ltd. — a leading geophysical services company in Kazakhstan — invites specialists and graduates of relevant universities and colleges (classes of 2025–2026) to join the 2026 field season.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting and supervising induced polarization survey operations (IP, IP-SG, IP-VES)
  • Operating and configuring Instrumentation GDD equipment
  • Daily quality control (QC) of field data and primary data processing
  • 2D/3D data inversion
  • Preparing technical reports for clients

Requirements

  • Higher education degree in Geophysics or Geology
  • Experience working with GDD instruments (for graduates — basic knowledge of the IP method and willingness to learn)
  • Proficiency in specialized software: Geosoft Oasis Montaj, RES2DINV / RES3DINV, or equivalent
  • Willingness to undertake extended field assignments across the Republic of Kazakhstan
