Globmine: First Phase of Field Exploration Completed, Project Moves to the Next Stage of Exploration

Aurora Minerals Group has completed the first major phase of the 2026 field exploration program at the Globmine Gold Project in Kazakhstan.

To date, our team has collected 15,453 lithogeochemical samples, generating a substantial dataset to identify geochemical anomalies and prospective zones of mineralization. Rock-chip sampling within the granite massif has also been completed.

In parallel, preliminary analysis of the samples is being carried out using a portable X-ray fluorescence analyzer (pXRF), while samples are being progressively submitted to the laboratory for gold analysis by fire assay.

At the same time, the team led by Daulet Muratbekov and Yerlan Nabiev is approaching completion of the geological mapping program, with a planned total of 315 line-kilometres of traverses. The work is focused on refining the geological understanding of the project area, including the distribution of hydrothermal alteration zones and indicators of mineralization.

Next Stage — Geophysics

This week, the Aurora Geophysics team commenced a ground magnetic survey, with approximately 800 line-kilometres planned.

The geophysical data will complement the geological and geochemical results and help refine the understanding of the subsurface structure, including areas concealed beneath unconsolidated cover.

The key objective of the next stage is to identify areas where gold geochemical anomalies coincide with favourable geological and geophysical features. These areas will form the basis for prioritising targets for further exploration, including trenching and future drilling.

Globmine is now moving from large-scale field data collection towards integrated interpretation and the definition of specific exploration targets.
