Lead Geologist

 


Requirements:

- Higher professional education;
- Experience in prospecting and exploration of solid minerals: at least 5 years,
 including in the position of Project Manager will be an advantage;
- Experience in gold and copper deposits;
- Experience in designing exploration works for various types 
of minerals (especially noble and non-ferrous metals);
- Ability to analyze and generalize the historical materials
 of the geological fund;
- Experience in organizing and coordinating the work of project teams
 and field teams;
- Knowledge of QA/QC principles and assurance;

Resource geologist

 


Requirements:

- Higher professional education;
- Experience in preparing reports with the calculation of reserves and
 feasibility study of conditions for mineral raw materials in accordance with GKZ 
standards / reports in accordance with KAZRC / JORC standards (including in the status
 of a responsible executor will be an advantage);
- The status of the competent person under the Australasian Code for 
the preparation of reports on the results of geological exploration;
- Experience in prospecting and exploration of solid minerals: at least 5 years,

Geophysicist-interpreter

 


Responsibilities:
-  Design of field geophysical works;
- Evaluation of the quality of field data on the main non-seismic methods;
- Quality control, processing, analysis and interpretation of the 
received geological and geophysical materials in specialized software;
- Modeling and visualization of geological and geophysical data;
- Organization and control of office processing for electrical exploration,
 magnetic exploration;
- Preparation of final reports and presentations;
- Presentation of recommendations on the placement of exploration drill holes,
 taking into account the results of the interpretation of geophysical data.


Requirements:
- Higher professional geophysical education;
- Possession of the general methodology for performing geophysical 
surveys using non-seismic methods;
- Knowledge of specialized software for processing geophysical data 
Geosoft Oasis MontajTM, Coscad 3D, SIGMA-3D, MapInfo, ArcGIS;
- Technical English at least Intermediate level.

Chief mechanic of drilling rigs

 


Responsibilities:
- Diagnostics, evaluation, preventive maintenance planning, 
maintenance plan and repair of mechanical failures in a wide
 range of vehicles and auxiliary equipment 
(Drilling rig Epiroc Atlas Copco Boyles C6, Christensen CS140,
 Ural tractor, Ural water carrier, UAZ, KAMAZ all-terrain vehicle.);
- Communication with suppliers and manufacturers of parts, vehicles 
(formation of requests for spare parts, formation of a warehouse stock);
- Repair and maintain vehicles or equipment in accordance
 with the requirements (Scheduled Maintenance, 
Scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PPR);
- Keeping accurate records of repairs/costs associated with 
the maintenance plan in workshops and in the field;
- Other duties assigned by the drilling department and the department 
of transport and service.


Requirements:
- Higher/secondary special technical education;
- Experience: Mechanical skills including welding, hydraulic systems, 
gas and diesel engines, and some knowledge of electrical engineering. -
- Experience and knowledge in maintenance and preventive maintenance
 of vehicles and/or drilling equipment;
- Knowledge of English is an advantage.

Terms:
-  Full employment;
- The worker will be based in Astana with frequent trips to work sites with 
different climatic conditions. Should be able to work in different

Health, Safety and Environment Engineer

 


Responsibilities:
- Measure the site's risk associated with environmental hazards and draw up
 plans to prevent or avoid them;
- Develop the details of safety programs in accordance with
 international safety standards and ensure the timely
 implementation of each plan;
- Interacting with superiors or supervisors to understand the type of activity
 that will take place on a daily basis;
- Delegate responsibilities to HSE employees to cover each
 aspect of production safety management;
- Investigate unsafe activities and situations and take measures
 to prevent the recurrence of such cases;
- Mark hazardous areas with safety posters, warnings 
and promotional materials for a safety campaign at work sites;
- Interpret existing environmental regulations and develop plans
 for continuous improvement of activities;
- Facilitate root cause analysis in the event of security emergencies and 
generate appropriate reports to document progress made;
- Serve as the site HSE contact person and provide guidance and 
technical support for HSE programs in the designated area;
- Integration of processes and practices in the field of labor protection, 
industrial safety and environmental protection into daily activities;
- Participation in planned activities in the field of health, safety
 and environmental protection, including corrective actions,
 investigations and on-site audits.

Requirements:
- Experience more than 3-4 years;
- The presence of certificates for Safety Requirements, 
HSE will be an advantage;
- Knowledge of all norms and regulations, knowledge
 of international norms on Safety Requirements;

Responsibilities:
- Development of plans and schedules for the construction
 of the production base;
- Organization of technical supervision and control over the timing and quality 
of construction and installation works;

analysis of the causes of deviations;
