Aurora Limited successfully completed ground geophysical surveys for Arras Minerals Corporation

Aurora Limited, a leading geophysical company in Kazakhstan, is proud to announce the successful completion of ground IP/Resistivity surveys across two prospective areas in the Pavlodar region of Kazakhstan for Arras Minerals Corporation. These surveys were conducted to identify subsurface structures and potential mineral deposits, utilizing state-of-the-art GDD Instrumentation from Canada.

The surveys aimed to delineate key chargeability and resistivity anomalies, often associated with metallic mineralization such as copper and gold, at depths of up to 500 meters. These data are critical for providing insights into the geological structure, including potential porphyry, hydrothermal systems and alteration zones.

Precision was a top priority during the field operations, achieved through the use of Trimble R12 geodetic equipment for satellite positioning, ensuring exact electrode placement and highly reliable geophysical data acquisition.

The next phase of this project involves comprehensive 2D inversion modeling of the IP/Resistivity data and 3D Voxel modeling, which will allow us to map subsurface structures with high resolution. This analysis is expected to provide valuable information about the depth, shape, and extent of potential mineralized zones, which can assist in targeting future drilling locations.

At Aurora Limited, we continually strive for excellence, adhering to the highest standards of data quality, safety, and environmental responsibility. Our company offers a diverse portfolio of geophysical services for the mining industry, from exploration to detailed subsurface imaging. Our expert team is committed to delivering actionable insights and comprehensive support to our clients, helping them to make informed decisions for their exploration projects.

Arras Minerals Corporation is a Canadian exploration and development company advancing a portfolio of copper and gold assets in northeastern Kazakhstan, including the Option Agreement on the Beskauga copper and gold project. The Company has established the third-largest license package in the country prospective for copper and gold (behind Rio Tinto and Fortescue). In December 2023, the Company entered into a strategic alliance with Teck Resources ("Teck") in which Teck will sole fund a US$5 million generative exploration program over a portion of the Arras license package in 2024-2025 focusing on critical minerals. The Company’s shares are listed on the TSX-V under the trading symbol “ARK” and on the OTCQB under the trading symbol “ARRKF”.
